Hi, my name is Thurston Norris. I have been a Christian for 30+ years. I grew up in small country church and got to a point where I was faced with the idea that I was a sinner. I had been thinking I was a Christian because I grew up in church and had Christian parents. I was asked one day if I had ever asked Jesus to forgive me and to become my Lord and Savior. I had never gotten to that point until July 13, 1967. On that day I saw myself as who I was, a sinner and separated from God. I knelt down by an old oak tree and prayed to God to forgive me and to come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. I was at that moment born into new life when I accepted Jesus' supreme sacrifice on the cross as my personal substitute. I realized that being good, having Christian parents or going to church did not mean I was a Christian. It is a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. I have grown more and more in love with Jesus Christ everyday. He is what Life is all about. I don't know how I could go through life without Him. Are you dealing with a problem in your life? If you are struggling with a problem, I would like to help by sharing Jesus Christ with you and the principles He gave us to live life by found in His Word. Tried everything? Try Jesus, you won't be disappointed. |
